The artistic and main director is Bartosz Szydłowski, who also holds the Devine Comedy Festival as the Art Director. This theater will be one of SPAF's international collaboration partner for next year. “Most of all, I would like it to be a play of basic questions, which are seemingly trivial, but as we raise them anew, they suddenly grow into a discovery” – Marcin Wierzchowski, the director *Reviews “They play ‘Supernova. Reconstruction’ is a journey to the past, falling somewhere between irony and seriousness. But most of all, it is a superbly constructed piece of auteur theatre.” Łukasz Gazur „Karykatura przeszłości”, Dziennik Polski Magnes, 28.05.2009 “The new play by Marcin Wierzchowski ‘Supernova. Reconstruction’ can be called a well thought out madness. What happens in the vaults of Łaźnia in Nowa Huta and on the stage is theatre reaching beyond all poses and styles. (…) The variety of actors’ performances is admirable and the diversity of threads doesn’t allow it to dull our vigilance. Somewhere in the background there constantly strays the question – who is human and what is his task?” Ewelina Zambrzycka, „Jesteśmy historią”, Echo Miasta Kraków, 28.05.2009 Having collected the stories of the dead inhabitants of Nowa Huta, the director went one step further. Not only has he checked what memories remained of each particular person, but also what would remain of his play in 1200 years. Of Nowa Huta. Of mankind. (…) the play “Supernova” confirms the pessimistic assessment – “our memory will fail us.” Joanna Drekaczew, „Polski teatr pokłada nadzieję w kosmitach”, Gazeta Wyborcza, 01.06.2009
